About Me

I am a first year Ph.D. student at the University of Utah. Currently, I am a fellowship student working with Dr. Alexander Lex.

I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Sharif University of Technology, Iran.

I continued my graduate studies at Sharif University of Technology under supervision of Dr. Alireza Zarei and at the University of Manitoba under supervision of Dr. Stephane Durocher. I was a member of the Computational Geometry Lab.

Android Malware Detection

In this course project, we tried to build classifiers to detect Android Malwares in a Android application data set. This competetive project was held on Kaggle website

Movie Miner

Collaborators: Sunipa Dev, Zahra Fahimfar, Siddartha Ravichandran

Movie Miner is a visualization to help users explore movie data and find movies they would want to watch based on features that they themselves can control. The options of features are wide ranging from country, genre and year of production to films in which certain actors and directors collaborated. The information is based on the IMDB website.

KiDGraD

Collaborators: Yeganeh Bahoo

In this project we used Microsoft Kinect™ for Graph Drawing. We implemented the application in C# and used the information of skeleton detection for graph drawing. The poster of this project was presented in Graph Drawing 2015 with collaboration of Dr. Stephane Durocher and Dr. Andrea Bunt.
