Memory usage

Friends,

I hope this is the right e-mail address...

I am attempting to resolve a problem we encounter when running a very large
simulation using DrScheme. The simulation is run by using an .exe
'launcher', but not all the .scm files are compiled to .exe. The system is a
Windows 2000 system, and it is possible to watch the memory usage increase
as the simulation runs- in 'Task Manager' the process is identified as MrEd.
When the memory size exceeds 256 Mb, a C++ Run Time error, "Abnormal Program
Termination" occurs.

Is there any setting I can implement (stack size, etc.) that will allow me
to avoid the 256 Mb ceiling? The machine has 512 Mb physical RAM.

Thanks in advance,
John
