Windows 95. Here's the source to my a.c, which I compiled with MSVC 5:

 #include <stdio.h>
 int main() {
   printf("hello\nworld");
   return 0;
 }

You're right that `process*' does not use command.com. `process' isn't
supported in MzScheme for Windows.
