To help debug our active networks, we have extended Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory's tcpdump (version 3.4) to understand and parse Active Network Encapsulation Protocol (ANEP) packets.

Download our tcpdump-3-4-anep.tar.gz.

More information on tcpdump can be found at LBL's Network Research Group.

Any platform that compiles LBL's original tcpdump source should be able to build our modified version. Please note that tcpdump requires the libpcap library, available at the LBL NRG.

All of the ANANA-assigned numbers are included in our extension of tcpdump.
