I, 方震, have been a Ph.D student in the School of Computing
at the University of Utah since August 1998.
I grew up in Qufu, Shandong, a small town in north China.
曲阜师范大学 is
always
my home.
After high school I was admitted by
Fudan University, Shanghai in 1990.
The first college year was actually spent at Dalian Military Academy,
which was required for all new students of the university.
I was at Fudan for the next seven years for B.S. and M.S. degrees.
I then came to the U.S. to continue my education.
Got married in 2000 to
Xiaojuan Wang (汪小涓).
Our lovely daughter Youjia(由佳)
was born in May 2001.
In my spare time, I like to play basketball, go to movies,
travel around Utah, and listen to a few good old songs again and again.
