The research is to build a new technique to combine the fingertip tracking and the fingertip force estimation with one camera. The fingertip position is interpreted as the cursor position on the screen and the fingertip force estimated by imaging is interpreted as pressing a button. The technique can be used to develop virtual switches for HCI or HRI. |
