About Me
I'm a Masters student majoring in the School of Computing at the University Of Utah. I'm currently being advised by Professor Robert Ricci. I'm primary interested in systems research - from embedded systems that run on AA batteries to large clustered high performance geo-replicated distributed systems running in multiple data centers. I've previously worked at NetApp which makes high performance unified NAS/SAN storage box due to which I'm familiar with storage technologies like Filesystems (WAFL), RAID, Replication technologies such as Snapmirror, Metrocluster, storage interfaces such as SAS/SATA, SSDs/HDDs, fileystem protocols such as NFS/CIFS and clustering mechanisms for High Availability. I also have extensive experience with debugging filesystem corruption issues, memory stomping issues, stack corruptions, CPU gliches, performance issues, etc.
