My name is Vincent Pegoraro and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Utah. As a research assistant within the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute, I focus on efficiently simulating physically-based light transport in participating media in the framework of the Center for the Simulation of Accidental Fires and Explosions. My research interests more broadly include predictive rendering, efficient global illumination, photorealistic image synthesis, computer graphics and scientific visualization.
