DesignJug
Title: Field
of View Coordinate Correction
This project involves the following aspects:
- Realtime coordinate and heading of point on image
- Known GPS coordinate of view point
- Known compass heading and inclination of field of view
- Assume flat plane ahead
- Ability to draw path on screen and convert to coordinate list
Expected equipment and software environment:
- Visual Studio (V6 or .NET)
- ActiveX controls
- GPS Hardware and drivers supplied
Technologies to apply:
- Existing ActiveX mapping technology
Giant Circle Navigation:
- Line/edge detection
- Correction for magnetic declination
