opticflow is a set of Octave scripts that can be used to create vector fields of moving 3D points projected into 2D. The files provide all of the necessary functions to create a perspective or orthographic camera, project points onto an image plane, clip points that fall outside of the image, and create a nice vector field such as the one below:
