2000 AMS-IMS-SIAM

Joint Summer Research Conference
in
>Algorithms, Computational Complexity, and Models of Computation for Nonlinear and Multivariate Problems
Sunday, July 16, 2000 to Thursday, July 20, 2000
at
Mount Holyoke College

The meeting will focus on Algorithms, Computational Complexity, and Models of Computation for Nonlinear and Multivariate Problems. Several senior researchers in the field have agreed to speak. This meeting is open to all who are interested in these subjects. All those who have received an informal invitation to the meeting from the Program Committee will receive a formal invitation from the AMS. If you would like to attend the meeting and have not yet received an informal invitation from the Program Committee you should contact the AMS or Kris Sikorski by March, 2000.

Several top researchers in these areas have been invited to participate in the conference. We plan to have breaks between talks, in order to give attendees a chance to discuss the topics in more detail. We plan on having limited number of contributed talks.

The program committee consists of Eugene Allgower (allgower@math.colostate.edu), Kurt Georg (georg@math.colostate.edu), Christopher Sikorski (sikorski@cs.utah.edu) and Frank Stenger (stenger@cs.utah.edu).

The program and list of invited speakers will be available at http://www.cs.utah.edu/~sikorski/holyoke.html. More information concerning the meeting's context can be found at http://www.ams.org/meetings/src .html.
