Figures
Most of the figures from the book are available in this 96MB
zip archive. Please let me know if
you have any trouble dearchiving it. Most of the figures are
Adobe Illustrator eps files. I would be happy to convert them for you
on demand.
Errata
Here is a list of
errors in the first printing. (last update Nov 15, 06).
These have been corrected in the second printing with the following
exceptions:

Page 263 first paragraph mentions figure 5.11. Should be 7.11 (Thuan Ta(
- Page 251, equation 11.4. Right hand side of equation should be 1/h
- Page 502: Fig21.22. Corrected figure here
- Page 515: Fig21.40b. Corrected figure here
You can tell whether you have a first or second printing by looking at the page before "Contents" early in the book. In the lower right-hand corner there is a sequence of numbers 10 9 8 7 6 ...
If that sequence ends in "2" it is a second printing. If a "1" it is a first printing.
