Initial Observations of the SMT Pentium 4 Processor

Q1. In the Pentium 4, while running two threads, what resources are
    partitioned dynamically, and what resources are partitioned statically
    between the two threads? How is this different from the model assumed
    in previous papers [28]?
  
Q2. The paper validates a subset of claims made by SMT research -- increased
    throuput, improved synchronization, symbiotic scheduling, etc. What are
    some of the other questions that still remain unanswered?
