Power-Aware Microarchitecture

Q1. Power consumption is attributed to switching activity (dynamic power)
    and leaky transistors (leakage or static power). Think of architectural
    mechanisms that can reduce processor power and energy. (Think beyond
    simply turning inactive units "off".)
