The name of our group is Cybertakumi.
We propose to create an online store for selling dietary supplements. We're using as a model www.vitacost.com. We plan to have search features to search the website as well as our database, so that the user can search our products, news items and ask questions. We also plan to use cookies to create a shopping cart for the user, as well as greet repeat customers.
We've set up a web server on John Ostler's home computer at the domain www.cybertakumi.com. We plan to use MySQL as our database. We'll use JDBC to make queries to the database. We'll have a home page from which the user can search our page or navigate to other services. These other services will include a page from which to browse or search our products, a page from which to browse or search dietary-related news items, and another from which to submit questions to our dietary supplement "expert".
