Personal
I was born in the beautiful hill-station of Kalimpong in India. After moving to Kolkata (used to be known as Calcutta at a point in time), I joined South Point High School - one of the most heavily populated schools in the world and came out having made some great friends and also the best among them. I did my UG (euphemism for cooled my heels) at Jadavpur University and then moved to Noida to work for Atrenta. Here I spent time working with some great people, traveling through North India and thinking if I should join grad-school (some great advice here). Finally, after deciding to get myself educated (with some coaxing from my parents and a friend-cum-mentor), I came here to the University of Utah in the picturesque Salt Lake Valley.
I am an ardent ARSENAL fan, former (courtesy IPL) cricket enthusiast, fab four fan, half-decent car mechanic and absolute Wikipedia addict.
And oh .. before I forget ... RESPECT MA AUTHORITAH !!
