- What is Engineering Day, and why are we having one?
-
"Engineering Day" is an Engineering Exhibition aimed toward recruiting
new majors and developing a greater sense of community among
engineering students. It provides a time to introduce new students to
some of the interesting and exciting projects and opportunites that
exist in the College. It will include student project posters,
research project demonstrations (like ME's Walking Robot, and CivE's
Steel Bridge), lab tours (like the Nuclear Reactor or the Electron
Microscope), and presentations by our Engineering departments and
societies. There will also be fun and challenging contests and games,
including great prizes (like XBox games), and free breakfast and lunch
for everyone who attends.
