Brief Bio

I am a CS Masters student at the U. My graduate career started after landing here in fall 2011. Broadly my research interests are inclined toward the areas of Visualization, Imaging , Visual Perception and Computer Graphics. I am also a Research Assistant at the Visual Perception & Spatial Cognition Lab.

Previously I obtained a Bachelors degree in Electronics & Telecommunications engineering from the University of Pune (India) after which I worked as a software engineer at Infosys Labs for nearly 3 years.

Projects

Sonar SONAR (Social Networking and Augmented Reality Platform) is a patent-pending software platform which I worked on while with Insofys Labs. It tries to leverage the advantages of augmented reality and social working in a retail scenario.
Infosys Iprowe Iprowe: I contributed in building the intelligence and reporting modules of this patented web accessibility assessment & remediation product.

 

Personal

I enjoy playing all racquet sports including squash, racquetball, tennis and even badminton, squash being the favourite!
