Scanline gallery

These images were generated by an application (written using OpenGL), that I'm working on in the SCI group, which does three types of volume visualization: orthogonal slicing, isosurfacing, and splatting. They were rendered using my
FireGL 1000 pro box
Diamond FireGL 1000 pro.

The trapezoidal wedge shape of the bounding box results from the sweeping action of an ultrasound transducer (although the data displayed is CT).

These images are all from an ear data set obtained from a CT scan of a cadavar.
