The Mission: Salta Argentina

"Ya saca la foto!"

I served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the country of Argentina. I was there from 1995 to 1997. On my mission I taught the people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. There I learned by force what they call Castellano (Spanish). The mission was incredible! It was a very challenging experience, but also a very rewarding one.

The Marriage

While taking a computer class at Snow College I noticed a girl through a glass window in the adjacent room. And oh did I notice her! After a couple weeks of staring, preparing mentally, and planning the attack, I did it! I boldly asked her out! And after what involved: spaghetti, a swinging bridge, a missionary, ice-skating, two years probation, driving recklessly through a wintered construction infested Salt Lake, a green suit, and a hospital, this cute girl finally became my wife. See...

Alyse on left 007 on right.

So, now after all the hoopla, we live happily in an apartment in Salt Lake City. Alyse (see beautiful girl in above picture) works at as a secretary at the Moran Eye Center and goes to school. I go to school and help Alyse in managing the apartment building we live in.

Marriage is good stuff. I would recommend it to anyone.

Get married!

The Family

My hometown is Ephraim Utah. It's a good little dusty town located at the geographic center of Utah. It's known for Snow College (www.snow.edu) and the Scandinavian Festival. Its' population is 3,004,500. Three million are turkeys, 2,000 college students (also turkeys), and 2,500 villagers.

My Dad works at the college as a Physics professor. My Mom works at the elementary as a 2nd grade teacher. I have one sixteen year old sister left at home. The rest are married and moved out like me.
