A little bit about me

Henry Longmore here. Welcome to my little page about me. I wrote it all by myself, with no help from Dr. Suess (or any of his friends). I graduated in December 2001 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering, and am now an M.S. student in Computer Science here at the University of Utah. I work as a Research Assistant in the Natural Language Processing Research Group, a field of Artificial Intelligence.

The project I am currently working on is called NaturalJava. An early version of the project is described in this paper by David Price et. al.

In the flesh

Here is a picture of me taken 16 April 2002 in the wee hours of the morning, after getting home from a late-night compilers session.

me

And here is a picture taken 10 May 2002, after I walked across the floor of the Huntsman Center and shook many hands. :-)

Finally! (Is that a smirk on my face?)

In spirit

If you haven't already looked at my interests page, here's a link to some of my poetry. From time to time I feel the need to add more from my previously written poetry, and sometimes I add recent poems, so visit again sometime for more.

And blood

If you want to know anything about blood, just ask me about any of my numerous accidents:

  1. Auto-bicycle accident in 8th grade (1988)
  2. Auto-bicycle accident between 10th and 11th grades (1991)
  3. Auto-Auto accident in which I was a passenger in 12th grade (1992)
  4. Bicycle accident in Ohio near Wright-Patterson AFB (1995)
