I am an assistant professor in the School of Computing at the University of Utah. Before joining the University of Utah, I spent four exciting years in the Mobile Networking Research Department at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies. Earlier, I obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Advanced Networks Research Group (advisors: Don Towsley and Jim Kurose) at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. 


Research

I have started the Advanced Networked Systems Research (ANSR) Group at the University of Utah.

My research interests include  networks and systems - technologies, protocols and applications encompassing mobile and pervasive systems and wireless networks, network security and reliability, overload and congestion control, multicast communication, Internet pricing, Internet measurements and inferencing.
