I am an associate
professor in the School of Computing at the University of Utah. Before joining
the University of Utah, I spent four exciting years in the Mobile
Networking Research Department at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies. Earlier, I
obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Advanced Networks Research Group
(advisors: Don Towsley and Jim Kurose) at the University of Massachusetts in
Amherst.
My research interests include networks and systems - technologies,
protocols and applications encompassing mobile and pervasive systems and
wireless networks, network security and reliability, overload and congestion
control, multicast communication, Internet pricing, Internet measurements and
models.
