University of Utah
Just in case you have forgotten, that's me in the second photo. (This
is how one generally looks after a night of Foundations)
The guys with me in the third photo are (L to R): Lavanya Jr.,
Hekku, Jog, and Patel.
The Mormon Temple, Salt Lake City
The Arches National Park
For those of you who don't know, Southern Utah is an amazing place. There's unlimited oppurtunity for outdoor activity. Hiking, Biking, Camping, Mountain climbing - you name it, and Southern Utah has the best setup for it. The Arches National Park is probably the most famous of the Utah National Parks, although there are equally breathtaking, but less popular (and hence, thankfully, less crowded) ones. The following photos were taken using a disposable Fuji Panoramic camera. The photos were quite impressive for the cost of the camera. I tried a little digital "retouching" to add some color, and looks like I overdid things just a little bit! But, to be truthful, the rock in this part of the world _is_ really this color.
Yeah, Sox did a good job of striking a pose...
The University of Pennsylvania
I was lucky to be in Philadelphia in the Fall, just as the colors were peaking out. Penn has a beautiful campus, right near downtown Philly. The last three snaps, I think, are of one of the dorms. Also, the second photo, I believe, is on the campus of Drexel, which is only a block away from Penn.
Misc. Photos From Salt Lake City
Jayanth and Ravi were in Salt Lake City in the Spring of 2001 for some Carnatic music concerts. Here are some photos from that visit.
