VETO Lab Facilities
The VETO Lab contains 2000 sq.ft. of laboratory space, including one
room where hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is kept and another room
housing a head-mounted display and Intersense ceiling tracker.
- Robots: Sarcos Dextrous Arm Slave, Utah/MIT Dextrous
Hand, 6-DOF Cartesian robot table, PUMA 560 robot.
- Haptic interfaces: Sarcos Dextrous Arm Master,
Pantograph (Haptic Technology Inc.), Phantom (SensAble Inc.).
- Locomotion interfaces: Sarcos Treadport.
- Position trackers: Utah Dextrous Hand Master, Ascension
Technology Bird sensor, Northern Digital Inc. Optotrak, Intersense
sensors.
- Computers: SGI Octane and 3 Indigo2 workstations, SGI
Onyx 2, 3 VME card cages with a number of PowerPC 604e and 68040
Motorola microprocessor boards and ADC/DAC boards.
