I am a PhD student at the University of Utah's School of Computing working within the Geometric Design and Computation (GDC) Research group. My research area includes geometric modeling and processing for continuous (spline-based) and discrete (mesh and point-based) surfaces. My PhD committee includes: Against, what seemed, all odds, I have managed to form the committee. Does this mean that graduation is eminent? I would like to think of it more as catching the first glimpse of what might be a light at the end of the tunnel. Now to navigate the avalanche of PhD dissertation research: swim hard without getting anywhere.
