9th and 9th is at the northern end of a gap in the Jordan River Parkway.
At first, I thought that SLC had one bad neighboorhood that
streched along the side every freeway and set of railroad tracks. It
turns out that these tracks haven't been used in years, and I'm left
to speculate as to why at least one house on this block is always
abandoned.
While it appears desolate at first, this corner is home to a
wonderful-smelling bakery.
800S 800W is 900S 900E's shadow self. The Mormon church
values human dignity: One doesn't come to Welfare Square to accept
charity, but to trade dignity for food and clothing.
Despite it's name, Salt Lake City cherishes its rural
origins. Here we see a donated clothing silo, and a concrete silo.
