The most well-known corner of 9th and 9th: home to an art house theater with an amazing selection of videos for rental, a truly awful vegetarian restaurant, and (until march 2002) a record store with an experimental section.

The terrible vegetarian restaurant I had in mind (Park Ivy) appears to have gone out of business, only to be replaced by another vegitarian restaurant (Gurus). Although I haven't eaten meat in a decade, I avoid vegitarian food like the plague. We also see an independent coffee shop mercilessly grinding the Starbucks on the SE corner under its heal.

The tower theater and Salt City CDs are perpetually in shadow.[NOTES]
