I went to this shrine on Easter Day. When I saw the stump, I
had no idea what it represented. J.D. Ziegler's picture is much
clearer.
In case these pictures aren't sad enough on their own, bear
in mind that the shrine was vandalized in May 2002, and the image of
Mary was chipped out.
