ViewLogic VHDL is a dialect of VHDL that does not currently support the IEEE standard. This means there is no support for IEEE specific vectors or functions of any kind. This makes it difficult to import or export VHDL written in other digital design tools. A version of Vantage is currently available but is not supported for synthesis (yet). A version that will be fully compatible with the IEEE standard is said to be released soon.
