My final project was Flick,an Interface Definition Language Compiler. I made the parser very robust,enabled one-way communication, and accelerated the decoding of a message.I helped develop the Mach code generator, did extensive testing, fixedmany existing errors, cleaned up code, and provided insight into how toimprove it in future versions. I became familiar and adept with the C,C++, Java, Lex, and Yacc Languages, the Unix operating system, the Emacseditor, and X windows.

I created a user-friendly client database for tracking and reporting. Thisinvolved researching the desired functionality and features, presentingdemos at intermediate steps, and responding to requests.

I installed new hardware, helped maintain the network, helped convert spreadsheetsto HTML format, and did computer trouble-shooting.
