Doowon Kim

I am a second-year Master's student in the School of Computing at the University of Utah, and a graduate research assistant in the Flux group in the School of Computing and the Department of Chemistry.
My advisor is Prof. Jacobus (Kobus) Van der Merwe.

I am working on Open Access Network with Prof. Jacobus (Kobus) Van der Merwe in the Flux group

In the Department of Chemistry, I have been implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) for the chemistry department in GWT, such as Blackboard Learning System and Canvas.

The previous project attempted to design and build a control node which automatically manages the physical Emulab systems as well as all experiments in Emulab via Drools and SNMP.

PAST

I have a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from HanKuk University of Foreign Studies. I worked in the Medical IT Convergence Research Center at KETI (Korea Electronics Technology Institute) as a research assistant from Jan. 2009 to Jul. 2011. I used to work in Intelligent IT System Research Center at the institute from Feb. 2008 to Dec. 2008 as well.
