GREAT Summer Camp Registration Information and Process

In order to register for the University of Utah GREAT technology camps, please fulfill the following steps:

PRIVACY POLICY REGARDING CHILDREN UNDER 13
These websites have been designed to be informative, accessible, and
safe for kids of all ages, and to adhere to all applicable laws and
regulations. Children are encouraged to browse our various web pages
with their parents in order to find age-appropriate classes.
Our site is not intended for children under 13 to self-register for
classes or other activities. Parents or guardians are required to
register for any students under age 13. As stated above, all
registration information (submitted by parent/guardian) resides on
secure servers, and is never sold, rented, or shared with any outside
organization or entity.
Cancellations and Transfers
If you need to cancel your registration, a refund, less $10 processing
fee, will be given until one week prior to the start date. Due to
supply and teacher commitments we cannot offer refunds for
cancellations made less than one week before the start date. If space
is available, you may transfer to alternate camp week.
The GREAT camp reserves the right to cancel sessions due to
insufficient enrollment, in which case a full refund will be made.
Pick-up/Drop-off
If you are responsible for picking-up or dropping-off your child,
please do so promptly. The drop-off period is from 8:45-9:00AM each
day - after 9, our staff will be busy in the classrooms. The pick-up
period is for 10 minutes after the listed end of class. So for the
9-11:45 camps, you may drop-off from 8:45-9 and pickup between
11:45-11:55. For the 9-3 camps you may drop-off from 8:45-9 and pick-up
from 3-3:10.
Pick-up and drop-off will be on the north side of the Merrill Engineering Building (MEB). At the start and end of the day, campers will collect on the grassy field between the parking lot and the building. Campers need to check in at the main table every day. Please only pick-up and drop-off campers on the side of the street closest to the sidewalk.
