Design and Implementation of a Policy-flexible Secure Network server

• Implementing a secure network server for the Flask secure operating system.
• Involves modifying the FreeBSD TCP/IP stack which runs in Flask.
• Includes providing network cryptographic protection using IPsec and ISAKMP protocols.
• Network access control is implemented at different layers in the network stack in a policy flexible manner.

Formal Verification of Flux operating system's IPC implementation

• Built a model of the Flux operating system's interprocess communication(IPC) implementation in Promela (a modeling language).
• Verified the model for absence of deadlock and liveness properties using the SPIN verifier.

Automated Testing of X Windows based GUIs

• Developed an interface for testing X Windows based GUIs using scripts.
• TCL was used for building the scripting language and X11/Motif for implementation of the graphical interface and the commands.

Developed a graphical user interface for ad-hoc querying of ObjectStore object oriented databases

• Used ObjectStore's Meta Object Protocol.

Automated Test vector generation for combinational circuits using PODEM
