• Payment Protocols

  NetBill Security and Transaction Protocol This has been published in the first USENIX workshop on electronic commerce. It describes the payment protocol used by the NetBill project at CMU
  

  Alternative Transaction Protocols This paper describes some of the threat considerations for secure commerce protocols. It also describes and compares qualitatively several different protocols and provides some empirical evidence for choosing an optimal protocol. The protocols analyzed here were all discarded for either business or technical reasons before settling on the protocol described in the NetBill paper listed above.
