Cecily Heiner

I am a PhD student in the School of Computing at the University of Utah. I started my PhD in the Fall of 2005, and I hope to graduate late in 2008.

My research interests are in language technology, machine learning, intelligent interfaces, and educational data mining. I am interested in creating and improving intelligent tutoring systems for computer aided language learning, music, and computer science education. Currently, I am working with Joe Zachary to create a system that will semi-autonomously answer student questions for introductory computer science.
