My family is small, but our motto is "Quality not Quantity". I'd say I have quite a high quality family.

My Dad, Dave Newton, is a retired cabinet builder & entrepreneur. He always seems to be one of the busiest in the family, even though he hasn't had a daily job for quite some time. Recently my Dad was on the City Council for West Jordan City. He enjoyed his time there, and is still quite heavily involved with city politics. He spends a lot of time building sets for community theater productions, and just finished building a "shop" in our back yard to store all his toys in. Dave is best described as a "Jack of all Trades". If it needs to be done, he can probably do it.

Sandy Newton, my mom, is the family accountant. She keeps track of all the finances, right down to the penny. She is also a good interior decorator, and makes beautiful flower arrangements. She is the one who keeps us all sane in our busy lives, and makes sure there is food in our stomachs, clean clothes on our backs, and a clean house to come home to. She is very thrifty, and loves to find bargains.

Out of all the sisters I've ever had, Stacy is by far my favorite. Actually, she's my only sibling. Stacy is five years younger than me, and is going through the upper teen transition from being a kid to becoming an adult. She used to be a gymnast, but now she spends most of her free time singing and dancing. She wants to study to be a childcare teacher, but currently spends her days at West Jordan High School. She'll graduate in 2001. The 1^st class.
