It has been awhile since I have posted any news. I have been extremely busy this summer. What have I been doing? SCT hired me back as a full time Quality Test Analyst. I will being working full-time and going to school until I graduate. On top of obtaining a great job I got married!! Married life is great. I don't think I am ready for school to start.

The semester is over!!! Thank heavens! For a moment there I didn't think I was going to make it. On top of the semester ending I have other great news. I'm engaged!! Her name is Cambria Schulties and she is awsome. I love her to death. More details to come...

A lot has gone on in the past month. School has been crazy. It's challenging and I am learn a lot. I had to drop CS 4960, because I was overloaded with homework in my other classes. Although school has been crazy life is looking up. I have also reentered the dating scene! I have the best girlfriend I could ever want. We have been dating five weeks and it's still going strong. On top of that I landed a great job opportunity! It is my old job back at SLCC in the computer science / engineering lab. I start Wednesday and I'm excited. I am hoping to put more content to this webpage soon.

I noticed I have had a real lack of updates lately. School has been so crazy the I haven't had time for much else.

Another semester is about to start! I don't think I will ever be ready for it. This semester I'm taking cs4400, 5600, 4540, 5300, and 4960. My main goals this semester are to not get behind and don't get sick. Last semester I had to drop a class because I got sick. I don't want that to happen again.

This semester is almost almost over. As Homer Simpson would say "Woo hoo!"
I personally can't wait. This semester has been brutal my classes have been
rather uninteresting (no offense if you are one of my professors reading this).
It has been a test of patience and endurance. Hopefully, I will be able to pull
strong until the end.

I have now joined the ranks of unemployed. My internship contract ended on October
31st. It's weird not having a job to go to. I'll miss SCT. Now, I will have
time to focus on school and do the work I should be doing to do well in my classes.

I fixed some spelling and grammatical errors on the page. How embarrassing.

I have finally decided I have way too much stress in my life. I am trying to
do too much and I don't have enough time to do it. I decided to drop a class
so I am not so stressed out all the time. The only bad thing about dropping
a class is I had to drop the class like the most, CS 3520. That class has opened
my mind up to a whole new world of programming. I wish I could continue with
it. All my other classes are required for my major so I have to stay in them.
Hopefully, I can take this class next year. When I initially signed up for my
classes, I went on the assumption that I wouldn't have a job. As luck turns
out, my internship was extended until the end of October. The job is great.
They are flexible with my school and I'm learning how the real world works.
My hope now is that I will be able to keep up with my remaining three computer
science classes. I think I will.

It has been awhile since I have done some news. My boss told me Wednesday that
I have been extended until the end of October. Originally, I was supposed to
end once school started. I'm pretty excited because I am learning tons at my
job. The experience helped me see real life examples of what I'm learning in
school. School is brutal. When I'm not at work, I'm working on projects or trying
to keep up with all the reading I have to do. It's tough, but I keep telling
myself that I have to keep going and keep trying. In case you are wondering,
I don't have a social life. That ended August 21, on the first day of classes.
August 25, 2003
School has started, so far it's not too bad. I chunked all my classes together
so I only have to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a lab class on Wednesday
in the morning, which is optional. I may or may not go to it. Work is going
well. I can't believe I only have a month left at that job. It is only a summer
internship so I'm glad I'm glad I still get to work there.
August 19, 2003
School starts tomorrow. Ahh! I'm not ready! It will be time to go back to almost
sleepless nights and spending hours in the computer lab. Ready or not here it
comes!

I can't believe that summer is almost over! Where did it go? Next, Wednesday,
20th, fall semester starts. I don't know if I'm ready. I am excited to start
learning new material, but I am enjoying working full-time too much. I'm glad
my work is flexible with my school schedule. They are letting me work part-time
once school starts. The big question lies, will I be able to handle taking 4
CS classes? One of the classes is a retake. I decided to retake CS 3100. I think
I can do a lot better than a C. Plus, I want to take more CS theory classes
so I figure I better make sure I know the material.

I got a new job about two weeks ago as an Associate Test Analyst. So far I'm
loving it. I make enough money in one week with this job than doing the two
job deal I was doing before. It's real nice because I'm a lot less stressed
and I have more time to do what I want. It's going to be hard going back to
school in August.
June
Summer is here. It is nice to have a break from school. Now, I am working two
jobs to save up for the next school year, SLCC computer lab in the morning,
Albertsons during the evening. It is tough on me because sometimes I have to
work 14 hour days, but I sure sleep well at night.
