Computer Science - Minor
Students are admitted to the minor if their average grade in Math 1210, CS 1410, and CS 2420 is 2.8 or higher. They must also achieve a letter grade of C- or better in these courses. CS minors should submit an application to the minor to the academic advisor in MEB 3190.
MINOR REQUIREMENTS
The minor consists of a minimum of 22.5 semester hours of required computer science classes. The following classes must be taken:
(Pre-minor requirements)
CS 1010: Intro to Unix
CS 1410: Computer Science I
CS 2420: Computer Science II
Math 1210: Calculus I
(Minor requirements)
CS 2100: Discrete Structures
CS 3500: Software Practice I
CS Elective: Students must take at least one additional CS class (3-4 credits) at the 3000 level. CS 3505 is recommended.
