The 2015 Salt Lake Valley Science and Engineering Fair (SLVSEF) is just 19 days away and will be held on March 24-26, 2015 at Rice Eccles Stadium. SLVSEF needs 250 judges to make sure that each student is judged the number of times needed. As a judge, you will be assigned to a student who has done research in an area that you are comfortable and familiar with. If you are able to judge, please register athttp://slvsef.org/judges/register If you are unable to judge, I would greatly appreciate it if you would forward this email to your friends and colleagues to see if they are available to serve as a judge this year.
New judges are encouraged to attend a judge training. Four sessions will be offered with each session running about 60 minutes. The Salt Lake training will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 4:00 or 5:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education at 1400 West Goodwin Avenue (1145 North) in Salt Lake City. There will also be a training held at BYU on Thursday, March 12th at the BYU Conference Center at 770 East University Parkway in Provo at 4:00 and 6:00.
