I was speaking of high school girls in classes 8 thru 11. 
While I am leaning to the conservative side to the political 
spectrum, I would object to being called "boy" esp "good ol'
boy" and likewise I won't call a woman "girl" in a serious 
conversation. At the same time, I won't shy away from saying 
"boys and girls" (when I am friendly) or "ladies and gentlemen" 
(when I am mad) to a group of people. -- Matthias
