Utah Lites Release 1.1.u2

Overview

This release of the Lites single server, lites-1.1.u2, includes a number of enhancements made by the Flux project at the University of Utah. The release is based on Lites version 1.1.950808 from HUT. Significant local additions include:

Intel x86:

All configurations were built using i386-mach cross-build tools, which can be found at: ftp://flux.cs.utah.edu/flux/binaries/i386.

HP PA-RISC

Built under Utah HPBSD, running on 4.4-lite base

For the PA running Lites, we have only built Lites under our latest Mach4 internal environment. You might be able to build under our currently distributed environment since it really hasn't changed much. To try that, just replace /usr/src/lites with the new release. You cannot run a ``new RPC'' server configuration on the old kernel since the kernel RPC path has changed. A new kernel release for the PA should be coming soon.
