ANN: New Janos Java NodeOS Release

		      Janos Java NodeOS v1.1.5
		      ------------------------

We are pleased to announce version 1.1.5 of the Janos Java NodeOS.

The Java NodeOS is a Java implementation of the NodeOS API. The Janos
Java NodeOS supports all of the major NodeOS abstractions including
Threads, Channels, Flows, ThreadGroups, and DemultiplexKeys.

There are two back-ends for the Java NodeOS in this distribution: the
(default) "pure Java" implementation and one which calls on the Moab
NodeOS. The Moab-based version is not yet as complete as the pure Java
version. Both provide exactly the same support to Java-based EEs.

This release includes the following enhancements over the last release
(v1.1.0, from Sept 5, 2000):
The Janos Java NodeOS is now separately distributed from the
ANTS EE. The new ANTS EE, ANTS2.0, is coming real
		soon.
The source code license is now MIT-ish, and not GPL-ish.
There are fewer restrictions on use of the source.
For details see the file `LICENSE' in the
		distribution.
Many bug fixes and improvements to various interfaces
including BufferHandles, Demultiplex Keys, and better
class loader controls. See the NEWS file for more
		details.
