Symposium on Network and Distributed System Security, San Diego, CA, 22-23 February 1996.
Conf Web page
The symposium will bring together people who are building software
and/or hardware to provide network and distributed system security
services. The symposium is intended for those interested in the more
practical aspects of network and distributed system security, focusing
on actual system design and implementation, rather than in theory. We
hope to foster the exchange of technical information that will
encourage and enable the Internet community to apply, deploy and
advance the state of the available security technology.

knowledge from large databases is a promising research area, with high
application potential due to the huge amounts of data accumulated in
databases and other repositories, coupled with the rapid growth of
data. The objective of this workshop is to bring researcherstor
in database systems together to discuss and examine the issues related
to mining knowledge from databases. A topic of interest is knowledge
discovery applications, including ecurity and social impact of data
mining.
