PURPOSE

The First International Symposium on Cyber Worlds: (CW2002) will take
place in Tokyo, Japan, in November. This Symposium will include four
tracks and will embrace the scopes of Methodologies, Software
Engineering, Modeling, Simulations, Developments and Applications of
Parallel/Distributed Computer Systems and Networks, Shape Modeling and
Computer Graphics. This is an opportunity for scientists, engineers
and researchers from around the world to share the latest research,
ideas and developments in these fields. The conference will include
keynote addresses, contributed papers, and tutorials. CW 2002 will be
held at Hosei University, Ichigaya campus, located at the central part
of Tokyo. Touring around the city you will discover a towering
architecture, and many colorful attractions such as museums, boutiques
and restaurants.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Prospective authors are invited to submit their draft papers in
English (about 6 to 8 pages long) via Web site
http://cis.k.hosei.ac.jp/CW2002/
An electronic submission system will be established soon. Papers will
be redirected automatically to program Co-Chairs in accordance with
the track indicator A, B, C, D. The paper should include a cover page
containing the title of the paper, authors' names and affiliations,
and abstract, some keywords, and information of a contact author
(postal address, e-mail address and fax number). Acceptable file
format is PDF only.

Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and
soundness. Each paper will be refereed by three researchers in the
topical area. The Camera- Ready papers will be reviewed by one
person. In addition to technical papers in plenary sessions, the
program for CW 2002 will include academic and industrial
tutorials. The papers of the fail to register the conference until
July 15, 2002 , will not be printed in the proceedings. The Conference
Proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press.
