Papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of
computer security are solicited for submission to the 7th ACM
Conference on Computer and Communication Security. Papers may
present theory, technique, applications, or practical experiences
on topics including:

Authentication and key management    Database security
Authorization, access control, audit    New threats and attacks
Cryptographic algorithms, protocols    Privacy and anonymity
Steganography,  watermarking            New security architectures
Intrusion detection and response    Secure electronic commerce
Licensing and intellectual property    Security evaluation
Malicious code and countermeasures    Security education

Instructions for paper submission

Papers must be written in English, and should not be longer than
twenty (20) double-spaced pages (appr. 5000 words). Submitted
papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been
published or that are simultaneously submitted to a conference or
a journal. All submission should be appropriately anonymized
(i.e. the paper should not contain author names or affiliations,
or obvious citations). Accepted papers will be presented at the
conference and published by the ACM in the conference
proceedings. Outstanding papers will be invited for submission to
ACM Transactions on Information and System Security (TISSEC).

Abstract submission: Send an e-mail to jajodia@gmu.edu containing
in plain ASCII the tittle and abstract of the paper, author
names, and the e-mail address of the contact author.

Electronic submissions: Authors are strongly encouraged to submit
their papers electronically using the Portable Document Format
(PDF). Send an e-mail to jajodia@gmu.edu with your paper as an
attachment.

Hardcopy submission: Send eight (8) copies of your paper to the
Programme Chair along with a cover letter and a listing (on a
separate page) of authors' names e-mail/postal addresses,
phone/fax numbers, and identifying the contact author.

Panel and tutorial proposals: Proposals should be no longer than
five (5) pages in length for panels, should include possible
panelists and an indication of which panelists have confirmed
participation. Proposals can be e-mailed or send in hardcopy to
the Programme Chair.

Submission of papers:          May 7, 2000
Panel and tutorial proposals: May 7, 2000
Notification to authors:      June 30, 2000
Camera-ready copies:          July 30, 2000

Submissions received after the submission deadline will be
rejected without review.
