SECOND IEEE WORKSHOP ON APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES IN WIRELESS NETWORKS -
	JULY 3rd-5th, 2002 - Paris, France

The workshop objective is to bring together academics and industry
researchers involved in various stages of the end-to-end path (from hosts to
servers) to ease the development of applications and services in wireless
networks.

The Technical Committee has selected around thirty papers covering issues
from radio technologies and the physical layer all the way to the
application layers. This should enable participants to broaden their
knowledge and develop awareness about existing interactions between
procedures and protocols in current and future wireless architectures and
networks.

The workshop is also the time to discuss the various coexisting and upcoming
technologies and debate how these technologies may be complementary, compete
and collaborate.
