General Information:

Original papers pertaining to all aspects of computer systems and information
security are solicited for submission to the Eighth Australasian Conference on
Information Security and Privacy (ACISP 2003). Papers may present theory, 
techniques, applications and practical experiences on a variety of topics 
including: 

     Cryptology                           Mobile communications security  
     Authentication and authorization     Secure operating systems  
     Access control                       Security management  
     Network security                     Secure commercial applications  
     Smart cards                          Key management and auditing  
     Risk assessment                      Secure electronic commerce  
     Copyright protection                 Security architectures and models

Instructions to Authors: 
------------------------

Authors are strongly encouraged to submit their papers electronically
to the address: acisp03@uow.edu.au. The paper must be anonymous. The
main body of the email should contain title of the paper, author(s),
and contact information.  The paper should be in one of the following
formats: Postscript or PDF (Portable Document Format).

 Authors who are unable to submit electronically are invited to send a
cover letter and 10 copies of their anonymous paper (double-sided
copies preferred) to the Program Chair at the postal address
below. The paper should be sent by airmail and be received by the
deadline (or postal marked by 10 February 2003). Submissions are
limited to 15 pages of 11-point type with reasonable margins excluding
bibliography and appendices. Committee members are not required to
read appendices. The paper should not have been previously published
or submitted in parallel for publication to other conferences or
workshops with proceedings.


Conference Proceedings: 
-----------------------
Conference Proceedings will be published in Springer-Verlag's Lecture Notes in
Computer Science series and will be available at the conference. The 
instructions about the final version of the papers will be sent to the authors
of accepted papers.
