SCOPE: Coding and Cryptology have become essential tools in the security of
our computer systems, networks, Web applications and technologies.
The Special Session "Applied Coding, Cryptology and Security" is aimed
to explore the importance of these fields in the pursuit of a secure 
Information Society for the 21st Century. 

AUDIENCE: The audience who would most benefit from the Special Session
include computer scientists, engineers in telecommunications,
developers of Web-based applications, services and tools, data base
administrators, security product developers, manufacturers, vendors
and users.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM: Prospective authors are invited to submit original
papers in any of the following subject categories: 

- Implementation of  coding schemes and cryptosystems
- Applied Cryptanalytic and Decoding Techniques
- Network Security and Encryption
- Security for  Web technologies and applications

   by February 25, 1999. 
- The CONSENT TO PUBLISH & TRANSFER OF COPYRIGHT FORM completed and  
  signed (the authors should print it directly from the site

  February 25, 1999.
