Courses with three-digit numbers are taught under the quarter system, and they will be unavailable after the summer quarter of 1998. Courses with four-digit numbers are to be taught under the semester system, and they will be available beginning with the fall semester of 1998.
In this document, we will use the term EQC to stand for equivalent quarter course and EQH to stand for equivalent quarter hour. A quarter-length course is equal to 1 EQC and a semester-length course is equal to 1.5 EQC. Similarly, one credit hour under quarters is equal to 1 EQH and one credit hour under semesters is equal to 1.5 EQH.

You must take at least 5 EQC from the following list of courses. You should avoid taking pairs of quarter-length and semester-length courses that have a great deal of overlap (e.g., CS 506 and CS 5460).
