Professor Riesenfeld has been
involved in research in the areas of computer graphics, animation,
computer aided geometric design and CAD/CAM since joining the faculty
in 1972. Recently he has been investigating a broad spectrum of
research problems in computer graphics, geometric modeling, and
manufacturing within an integrated experimental testbed system
motivated by the unifying principles of spline theory.
